After graduating from the University of Edinburgh, William moved into the financial services sector. Following a period with Rothschilds, William took up employment with the group companies and was appointed Managing Director of Dentalstyle in 2004. William now holds the position of Chief Executive Officer of Deanestor.

James Stephens

Executive Director

Following completion of his masters degree in International Commercial Law and Business, James spent 10 years as a solicitor in London with SJ Berwin and Jones Day, specialising in commercial and corporate finance. James is Executive Director of Deanestor and Managing Director of Offsite Solutions. He won the Nottinghamshire Young Business Person of the Year award, sponsored by KPMG and Nottinghamshire County Council.

Richard Tonkinson

Executive Director

After graduating from the University of Edinburgh, Richard spent 10 years in the City of London with Rothschilds, Williams de Broe and Citigroup/Solomon Smith Barney. Latterly Richard was head of UK Equity Brokerage at Citigroup sitting on key executive committees. Richard has experience in a wide range of capital markets and has worked on numerous corporate transactions including mergers, acquisitions, fund raisings and AIM admissions. Richard was Money Week’s Stock-picker of the Year in 2005 and has written for a variety of financial and investment publications. Richard is also Business Development Director of Offsite Solutions and other group subsidiary companies.

Steve Clark

Production Director

With 25 years' experience in the furniture manufacturing industry, in particular panel processing, Steve has been instrumental in the development of numerous furniture product ranges for both the public and private sectors, including healthcare, education and student accommodation. An employee since Deanestor was established in Mansfield in 1996, Steve became a board member in 2008.

Peter Waring

Managing Director

After serving a 3-year apprenticeship as a cabinet maker, Peter took up a site management role within the construction industry working on several large commercial projects as construction lead. Peter has subsequently spent more than 30 years working at senior management level within the fume cupboard, laboratory, education, and healthcare furniture sectors and provides a wealth of experience to the whole business.

 

Peter has actively managed and led FF&E packages on large PFI projects in both the Healthcare and Education sectors. Appointed as a board member in 2011, Peter actively led our Sales team ensuring we continue to develop and secure business within our core markets, whilst also actively seeking work within new market sectors. Having a ‘hands on’ practical approach, Peter provides our customers with expertise and support on our products and services to secure orders, whilst providing guidance and experience throughout the whole construction phase in his current duel role of overseeing our projects department whilst also actively working in sales.

Fay Richards

Finance Director

With over 30 years’ experience in accountancy, Fay’s career has encompassed most aspects of financial management, covering domestic and international operations. A wide ranging experience of retail, construction and manufacturing has proven to be invaluable in managing the finance strategy within the Deanestor Group.

Ramsay McDonald

Managing Director, Deanestor Scotland

With over 25 years' experience in furniture and fitout, Ramsay has a wealth of knowledge, which contributes to the delivery of inspirational interior solutions in the education, healthcare, student accommodation and build-to-rent sectors.

 

In 2016, he took up the role of Managing Director for Deanestor Scotland with a wide remit that includes leading projects in Scotland and internationally.
 

He has overseen the development and successfully delivery of major FF&E projects which require early engagement in the design process with end-user teams and contractor consortia to ensure the optimum furniture and fitout solution for the customer.
 

Ramsay has led Deanestor fitout projects up to £24m framework agreements for a range of multi-school schemes.

 

His experience includes UK-wide PFI/PPP initiatives, and Government initiatives such as Building Schools for the Future, the Priority Schools Building Programme, 21st Century Schools Programme (Wales) and, most recently, the Scottish Futures Trust which covers education and healthcare delivery programmes throughout Scotland.
